Haas presents first team for Formula 1 2024 launch without a new car

Haas has become the first Formula 1 team to unveil renderings of the car they will race for this year's new season in an online launch. The team is retaining Kevin Magnussen and Nico Hulkenberg as their driver line-up for 2024. Pietro Fittipaldi is staying with Haas as a reserve driver.

The launch was held at the team's headquarters in Kannapolis, North Carolina and was streamed live on YouTube. The team's new car, the VF-24, was not present at the launch, but renderings of the car were shown instead. The VF-24 is an evolution of the VF-23, which finished eighth in the constructors' championship last year.

Haas is the first team to launch its 2024 car, but several other teams are expected to launch their cars in the coming weeks. The first pre-season test will take place in Bahrain from February 23-25, and the first race of the season will be the Bahrain Grand Prix on March 5.
