The Bachelor Nation alum opens up about her split from Michael Allio

Danielle Maltby is setting the record straight on her breakup with Michael Allio. The Bachelor Nation alum took to Instagram on Thursday to share her side of the story, after Allio confirmed their split earlier this week.

"I'm not going to lie, I'm really hurt," Maltby wrote. "I loved Michael and I thought we were going to get married. But he ended things with me and I'm still trying to process it all."

Maltby said that she was blindsided by the breakup. "I thought we were in a good place," she said. "We were talking about our future and making plans. So when he told me he wanted to break up, I was completely shocked."

Maltby said that she doesn't know what went wrong. "He said he just wasn't feeling it anymore," she said. "But I don't understand how you can go from being so in love with someone to not feeling anything at all."

Maltby said that she's trying to stay positive, but it's hard. "I'm heartbroken," she said. "But I know that I'll get through this. I'm a strong woman and I'm going to come out of this even stronger."
